Nike’s brief to us was simple. They gave us seven of their athletes and told us, to make them famous. That meant we didn’t have to talk about what they represent, how far they’ve come, how much they do or don’t get paid, or how they inspire the next generation. Basically, we could just show how badass they are on the pitch. 'What the Football', celebrates some of the best football players on the planet. With frenetic and exciting visuals to match the buzz around the 2023 World Cup. Starring Megan Rapinoe, Sophia Smith, Sam Kerr, Wang Shuang, Ada Hegerberg, Debinha, Alex Morgan and Grace Geyoro.

Along with the bespoke athlete films, we created a design system for the accompanying OOH and key visuals, featuring custom-type treatments unique to each athlete and their playing style.
